KEY CHANGES AND BENEFITS:

ACCESS

  • Class 1, 2 & 3 Access Permit Renewals – the NHVR Portal will now automate renewals where there is no change. The improvement saves time and resource costs at each stage of the process workflow because the new automated renewal function means less touch-points and processing; and the customer potentially receives their permit within minutes.
  • Ability to amend an access permit to add new vehicle/s on existing application (applicable to system generated permits). This enhancement benefits the customer as they are able to view a vehicle list; and they will receive amended permits quicker.
  • Amend vehicle permit automation – The permit is automatically updated and re-issued to the customer with the amended vehicle information.
  • Processing cheque payments – NHVR Facilitators can perform the function of processing a cheque payment after a case has been submitted. This functionality allows for customers to pay for applications using a cheque. This method of payment is particularly beneficial when the amount due to the NHVR is significant. This assists the customer better manage their own accounts and prevents the need for multiple payments using credit cards (often due to credit limits being less than the amount due to the NHVR).
  • Images in the condition library - Now the regulator or road manager can add images in the conditions library so the correct information can be displayed on the permit.

ACCREDITATION

  • Distinguish difference between audit reports and audit notifications – this improvement moves audit applications out of the 'audit' tab and into the 'applications' tab. This is in response to confusion between audit records and application in the 'audit' tab.
  • Processing cheque payments NHVR Facilitators can perform the function of processing a cheque payment after a case has been submitted. This functionality allows for customers to pay for Accreditations using a cheque particularly when the amount due to the NHVR is significant. This assists the customer better manage their own accounts and prevents the need for multiple payments using credit cards (often due to credit limits being less than the amount due to the NHVR).

VEHICLE STANDARDS
